Vasilis Alevizos
Vasilis Alevizos was born in Athens, Greece. He graduated the Athens Conservatory with the distinction of the Golden Medal and he then continued his studies as a scholar at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
As a virtuoso pianist and an upcoming composer, he has received awards and scholarships from Greece and the UK. He has collaborated with world renowned composers such as Philip Glass and John Adams and he has composed music for short films receiving two nominations at the Los Angeles and Milan film festivals while winning an award for ‘’Best Composer’’ at the Independent Film Festival of Oslo.
He is a current delegate for the British Film Institute, an official accompanist at the Royal Academy, a Visual Communication graduate of the Athens University and a current piano tutor at King’s College University of London.
